The machine features a reinforced vice base and a quick-clamping vice. Machine Features The CORMAK HBS320 metal band saw enables cutting material at any angle between -45° and +60°. Workpieces can be fed manually or by any feeding device. The feed during cutting is gravity-based, utilizing oil flow in the hydraulic cylinder. The operator starts the machine by pressing the start button and sets the cutting speed. After the cutting cycle is completed, the machine automatically stops and the operator raises the arm to the starting position. The saw arm is made from a very robust, single-piece grey cast iron casting. Combined with a 27 mm wide saw blade, it is perfectly suited for serial cutting of structural, stainless, and tool steels. The vice is mounted on an adjustable bed and features quick-release clamping. The blade guides are equipped with ball bearings and carbide inserts, ensuring excellent precision and straightness of the cut. This has a significant impact on band guidance, blade longevity, and cutting quality. The carbide guides greatly reduce wear on both the machine and the blade.
