Machine characteristics

The CORMAK BS 128HDRC band saw for metal cutting, featuring an optimal cutting range and designed for the professional tradesperson, is distinguished by its efficiency and ease of use. It is equipped with a swiveling arm in both directions, a significant advantage when cutting materials at an angle. Despite its compact size but substantial weight (109 kg), the machine is very stable and does not vibrate when cutting larger materials—unlike lightweight machines. The workpiece can be fed manually or by any feed device. The feed during cutting is gravity-based, operating via oil flow in a dual-chamber hydraulic cylinder. The appropriate arm descent speed is achieved through a valve regulating oil flow between cylinder chambers. Cutting accuracy is ensured by a set of blade-guiding bearings. Standard equipment includes an automatic limit switch, ON/OFF switch compliant with IP 54. The saw frame allows for dual mitering from -45° to +60°.
