Depending on the model, briquette length ranges from 40 to 80 mm, and the diameter (depending on the type) is 50, 65, or 70 mm. For emulsion recovery, the briquetting press can be fitted with a catch tray, allowing coolant, cutting, and lubricating fluids to be collected and recovered. Non-ferrous metal chips up to approximately 20 mm in length are filled into the briquetting press hopper. A stirrer installed at the bottom of the hopper prevents bridging and feeds the material into the pre-compression chamber. In this chamber, a hydraulic slide pre-compresses the material and pushes it into the pressing block. The main press cylinder compresses the material against a vertical slide until the set pressure is reached. Subsequently, the vertical cylinder moves upwards and the stable briquette is ejected. The more homogeneous the material, the more consistent the length of the produced briquettes.
