Suitable for round or square bales.
Includes frequency converter (FU) – this controls the speed of the scraper floor.

The bales are placed on the scraper floor and the feed of the milling unit is activated. The tines of the milling unit tear the straw from the bale and throw it into the hopper. Ideally, the combination of the bale breaker and straw shredder is recommended here.

Technical data of the bale breaker:
Capacity: 1–2 bales per hour, up to a maximum of 600 kg per hour (depending on the sieve size used in the straw mill and the kW rating of the straw mill). Without the straw mill, the bale breaker can process up to 900 kg/h of straw.

Description:
The muetek bale breaker was developed for breaking up round and square bales of hay and straw. The attached shredder attached to the bale breaker shreds straw from all cereal varieties, hay, maize, and miscanthus. The muetek machines of the MHZ/MHB series stand out due to their robust design and heavy-duty construction.

muetek MHB series bale breakers are equipped with a chain conveyor on which the straw bale is placed using a front loader. The platform is adjustable depending on the bale type.

The chain conveyor pushes the bale against the milling rotor, and the feed speed is adjustable. The milling rotor is equipped with multiple teeth that tear apart the straw bale. The straw separated from the bale is expelled.
