If installed outdoors, the load capacities reduce according to wind and snow loads.
The foundation must be concrete, level, and suitable for dowelling, and able to bear the imposed loads. The customer is responsible for checking and ensuring the floor properties, load-bearing capacity, and for any permits required by authorities.

Uprights must be anchored to the floor on site; wall anchoring is neither necessary nor recommended.
According to professional association recommendations, the uprights should have at least 500 mm overhang above the top storage level.
