Offset sanding units equipped with large tension rollers for effective heat dissipation and stable abrasive belt tracking. Sanding units with forced sanding-belt oscillation. Dual-point sanding dust extraction directly at the sanding drum. Fine dust extraction at the large tension rollers. Integrated belt blow-off device increases belt life. Integrated, adjustable brush and finishing unit with large dust extraction via threaded spindle. Motorized thickness adjustment of the complete top unit using precision-threaded spindles and linear ball bearings mounted on hardened and ground precision shafts, with dust and dirt protection. Electronic digital display for workpiece thickness (resolution 0.1 mm). Contact roller and sanding shoe sized in a balanced ratio to abrasive grain load. Hardened and ground sanding drums. Maintenance- and wear-free oxide ceramic sanding shoes (DBGM) provide excellent sliding properties, efficient heat dissipation and high dimensional accuracy. Sanding belt tension via pneumatic cylinder. Belt exchange using pneumatically controlled belt release. Option to adjust belt tracking during belt change. Electropneumatic pressure monitoring with visual fault indicator for compressed air supply. Automatic machine stop for belt breakage and with infeed guard including integrated wood thickness control. Visual indicator on the operator control panel. Feed system utilizes proven, calibrated, slip- and non-slip-resistant conveyor belts running over precisely ground tables and spring-loaded pressure rollers. Cardan shaft drive ensures consistent wood transport. Infinitely variable feed speed. Chip removal adjustment (bottom) via precision-threaded spindle, with dial indicator (resolution 0.1 mm). Ergonomically arranged control and adjustment elements on the machine front: top sanding and brushing unit, bottom sanding and brushing unit, workpiece transport device, sanding thickness adjustment, operation indicator, fault indicator. Integrated control and operator panel within the machine housing, including lockable main switch. All motors electronically protected against overload.
