AMTEC WTIS HFFS 60 LID

Packaging line for the production and packaging of wet wipes such as hygiene wipes, cleaning wipes, moist care wipes, and disinfectant wipes. The line consists of a wet wipes manufacturing unit, a flow wrap packaging unit, and a unit for applying the resealable lid.

Wet Wipes Production Process: Unwinding of nonwoven material from two mother rolls and longitudinal slitting into five lanes per roll (up to wetting) for high-speed production, folding into Z- or C-shape, wetting via multiple spray nozzles, cross-cutting to cloth length, stacking, and transfer to the packaging unit. The flow wrap packaging unit handles wipe feeding, film feeding and printing (hot-stamp printing), hole punching (for tissue dispensing), placement of the resealable label and, for example, a sealing label (the integrated dual-lane labeller enables staggered labelling), pouch cutting/hot sealing, and transfer to the lid unit. The lid unit is equipped with two lid magazines and one labeller. Lids are glued onto packs using a hot melt process. The liquid supply system for moistening the wipes consists of two tanks with continuously mixing agitators and a liquid recirculation unit.
