Supporting structure: The supporting structure consists of a particularly robust monolithic steel base, heavily ribbed and highly rigid; the especially wide bearing surface is purpose-designed to provide the machine with stability, ensuring lasting precision regardless of operating conditions, and the machine does not require floor anchoring. The base forms a large and solid support for the mobile gantry: the working unit thus benefits from a balanced, stable, and durable support that withstands even the highest stresses, ensuring higher-quality performance and greater accuracy. The mobile gantry is made from a solid single piece, anchored on both sides of the base, and runs on top-quality prismatic guides with recirculating ball carriages. Dual drive on the X-axis guarantees top performance even under heavy-duty conditions. Movement of the lower mobile unit (X-axis) and the working unit along the gantry (Y-axis) is achieved via helical rack-and-pinion transmission, delivering higher tooth engagement for increased acceleration and greater speed along the X and Y axes. The specially designed helical gearing reduces wear on mechanical components and ensures quieter operation. The vertical Z-axis is driven by a recirculating ball screw, ensuring perfect balance under dynamic loads and supporting strong accelerations and decelerations. The main milling unit is directly attached to the Z-axis carriage, ensuring top-quality finishing by entirely eliminating vibrations.
