Der Arbeitsbereich für Materialdicken und Breiten bis 600 mm ermöglicht das Bearbeiten von kleinen und mittelgroßen Werkstücken. Mit entsprechenden Werkzeugen eignet sich die Maschine auch für schweres Verrunden von Kanten und das Entfernen von Oxidschichten. Die GP 600 2Z ist mit einem elektrischen Bedienfeld mit Digitalanzeige ausgestattet, das es dem Bediener erlaubt, sämtliche Bearbeitungsparameter wie Werkstückhöhe, Vorschubgeschwindigkeit und Drehzahl der Werkzeuge vollständig und stufenlos zu steuern. Jede Bearbeitungseinheit kann unabhängig angesteuert werden, sodass der Bediener individuell festlegen kann, welche Arbeitsprozesse in einem Durchgang durchgeführt werden sollen.
