For outdoor installation, load capacities are reduced according to wind and snow load. The subfloor must be concrete, flat, suitable for doweling, and able to bear the imposed loads. Floor condition, load-bearing capacity, and any necessary official permits must be checked and ensured by the customer. The rack uprights must be anchored to the floor on site; anchoring to the wall is neither necessary nor recommended. According to German trade association recommendations, the rack uprights should have at least a 500 mm projection above the top storage level.
