Use of a photoelectric sensor The use of a photoelectric sensor in the component area allows length measurement and enables automatic activation of spray guns when a part enters their range, followed by immediate deactivation after painting. The photoelectric sensor is part of the standard equipment. Parts can also be identified by special markings. Above the conveyor loop, there are plates with identification holes. Based on this, the PLC controller, in conjunction with the photoelectric sensor, detects the painted part and switches the guns on and off at the correct time, thus saving energy and powder paint. Vertical shape recognition. By utilizing light barriers with horizontal detectors, the PLC can analyze the vertical geometry of a component. The PLC measures the time during which the part should appear in the spray area, allowing selective activation and deactivation of the spray guns.
