A conveyor system continuously and gradually feeds the shredded chips into the hopper of the chip press via a conveyor belt. There, two augers transport the material into the compaction chamber. The system features a monitored liquid collecting tank and a pump. The cooling fluids can be returned to the production process. Cycle control is managed by a PLC and an electronic level sensor for monitoring the fill level in the hopper. Optionally, a tipping device can be added for manual loading if required.
