Columns and cylinders are made of SAE 1045 tool steel (equivalent to German C45 standard), induction-hardened and chrome-plated externally.
The linear encoder continuously informs the control system of the ram position. The stroke path, upper stop, switching point for changing from rapid to working speed, and the target end position can be easily and quickly set via the monitor control.
Working speed is adjustable in 1 mm/sec increments from 0 to 10 mm/sec and in 10 mm increments from 10 to 155 mm/sec.
The control system monitors all protected zones, the complete hydraulic unit, and the pump.
Controls are housed in a separate control cabinet.
Operation of the press is via a control panel mounted on a swivel arm, providing ergonomic access and reducing operator movement.
