CNC-controlled DRILLING, GROOVING, and MILLING on less than 3.3 m² with high processing precision and zero setup time – this is what the GANNOMAT ProTec stands for.

TECHNOLOGY:
The robust processing unit is equipped with 13 vertical drilling spindles, 8 double horizontal drilling spindles (6Y & 2X), 1 grooving saw on the Y-axis, and 1 milling unit. This configuration allows all commonly used drills/tools to be ready in a single setup and called up as required.

This CNC machining center operates from below and can work in both throughfeed and return-to-operator modes.

Steel support tables with air nozzles provide a reference for horizontal drilling, and, combined with robust workpiece clamps and an additional 4th axis at the drilling head, allow for highly precise drilling. A contactless laser sensor detects actual workpiece edges (top and bottom), enabling automatic correction and adjustment of the drilling program.

APPLICATION AREA:
ProTec offers high-end technology for both operation and application and was developed as an entry-level CNC model for small and medium-sized workshops and, alternatively, as a secondary machine to standard machining centers to prevent production bottlenecks.

The GANNOMAT ProTec is designed for complete machining of cabinet side panels, cabinet bottoms, rails, back panels, furniture doors, drawer parts, drawer fronts, countertops, frame parts, tables, sliding doors, templates, and more.

Examples of operations include dowel holes, row holes, mounting plate holes, connector and drawer runner bores, fittings, cabinet hanger bores, handle bores, lock bores, etc.

The grooving unit enables machining of back panel grooves (also as rebates) or grooves in drawer fronts.

The milling unit can perform a variety of milling tasks such as (excerpt): pockets of all kinds, tambour tracks, spot and cable pass-throughs, handle strips, plinth cutouts, recesses for cup handles and furniture locks, lock mortises, ventilation openings in doors, kitchen worktop joints as well as partial routings in, for example, kitchen worktops, furniture frame doors, and much more.

Another possible application of the ProTec is the routing of standard milling contours traditionally produced with templates and manual routers.

Materials such as chipboard, solid wood, multi-layer boards, lightweight panels, etc., can be efficiently processed with the ProTec.
