Operating principle:
The contaminated air is introduced tangentially into the upper cylindrical section, causing the air to rotate. The material is forced outward to the periphery of the cyclone under centrifugal force and discharged through the opening in the base. The cleaned air exits the cyclone via the centrally located outlet pipe at the top.

The separation efficiency increases with feed velocity, but so do the pressure drop and, consequently, energy consumption. It is essential to find a good compromise here.

We have developed a range of cyclones optimized for filtering large volumes of material, making them ideally suited for the wood, paper, recycling, grain, and feed industries.

Below, the appropriate cyclone size can be selected based on airflow volume and a typical pressure drop of around 1000 Pa.
