The planer-thicknesser is a versatile woodworking machine designed for straightening, thicknessing, and smoothing wood. Ideal for carpentry work and furniture manufacturing, it enables precise planing, surface smoothing, edge processing, board production, manufacturing of woodworking components, and preparing materials for gluing. This stable machine features a high-quality cast iron table, knives for material removal, an electric motor, and user-friendly adjustments for ease of operation.

Also referred to as a jointer, the planer-thicknesser is intended for the initial processing of both raw and hard wood as well as softwood (lumber). Its primary functions are leveling, sizing, and smoothing wood surfaces through mechanical operations. It’s especially valuable in carpentry and furniture production, where precision and repeatability are crucial.

Sturdy design with increased mass and vibration resistance

The machine weighs 170 kg, and, combined with wide, ground cast iron tables (250 mm), guarantees excellent stability for safe operation.

Additional rubber feet ensure vibration-free working conditions.

VERSION with a powerful S6: 2.6kW motor

The PT260 planer-thicknesser is equipped with an exceptionally powerful S6 2.6 kW (S1 2.0 kW) motor, exceeding the output of competing machines, resulting in higher performance and greater operational stability.

A more powerful motor means stable operation and easy machining of tough materials: Hardwood requires more force for processing, and this robust motor handles it effortlessly.

Effortless conversion from jointer to thicknesser.

Switching from jointer to thicknesser mode is very fast and straightforward. Simply release the eccentric locks, lift the tables, and reposition the dust extraction hood.

Work precision:

- Stepless height adjustment of tables with a graduation scale.
- Thicknessing table centrally mounted on a column with a handwheel for up/down adjustment.
- Aluminum tilting fence (700 x 150 mm) with a graduated scale for precise angle adjustment between 90–45°.
