The Cormak PT265 Planer-Thicknesser is a robust, well-designed machine offering extensive adjustment capability and mechanical processing of both hard and soft wood. Adjustment is straightforward, and switching from planer to thicknesser mode takes just a few seconds.

Latest machine version features an innovative table opening system:

❌ Competing, older machines use "butterfly-style" tables, which require calibration of both infeed and outfeed tables before each use. Even minimal discrepancies can cause material damage and unwanted results.

✔️ The new, combined table design enables simultaneous, precise adjustment of both tables! Once set, the calibration is permanent. When changing the planing height, both tables move together.

✔️ This translates to time savings, improved ease of use, and 30% higher planing accuracy compared to the previous generation—particularly important when working with thinner materials.

Vibration-resistant, stable construction

Weighing in at 170 kg and equipped with wide, ground cast iron tables (265 mm), the PT265 ensures excellent stability and safe operation. Additional rubber feet further minimize vibrations during use.

The PT265 stands out for its exceptionally strong S6 2.6 kW (S1 2.2 kW) motor—far more powerful than competitors, providing higher efficiency and operational stability.

Transition from jointer to thicknesser mode is fast and simple: unlock the eccentric cams, lift the tables, and reposition the chip extraction hood.
