2-in-1 Tube Notcher

The new AL150HS features a belt speed of 45 m/s due to its unique gearbox. By opening the rear hatch, the tube notcher can also be used as a belt grinding machine, ideal for deburring polished profiles. The AL150HS can be operated either via two handwheels or a lever—both options are available on the machine. The AL150HS allows you to grind material from Ø20 to Ø114.3 mm. Both the cross support and the carriage with rotating clamp are infinitely adjustable. This means all tube profiles can be ground at any desired angle from 20° to 90°. With the AL150HS by ALMI, square, rectangular, and round tubes with varying wall thicknesses and all standard materials can be processed. The ALMI belt adjustment system makes it even easier to set the grinding belt using the supplied hex key. The belt can be quickly tensioned, and the grinding rollers can be changed within seconds.

High-Speed Grinding

Thanks to new developments, ALMI has achieved a grinding speed of 45 m/s with the updated AL150HS. This provides the grinding belt with a longer service life, as higher grinding speed reduces heat generation in the material, resulting in less discoloration and fine dust.
