C) Application of the GRECON HS 120 Line
The GRECON HS 120 line is designed for throughfeed machining and finger jointing of short solid wood elements into continuous lamellas up to approx. 6,100 mm in length.
Used for production of:
- furniture panels
- countertops
- construction elements
- battens and solid wood semi-finished products
D) Operators
The GRECON HS 120 line with ABB automatic infeed (2 pallet cells, alternate operation) requires just 1 operator.
E) Production Process
1. Pallets with pre-sorted wooden elements are delivered to the loading cell.
2. ABB robot picks elements from pallets and feeds them onto the GRECON HS 120 infeed conveyor.
3. The line performs throughfeed machining of male and female finger profiles on the elements.
4. Automatic glue applicator applies adhesive (monitored by GlueEye Vision system).
5. Pre-jointing station assembles the elements to the specified length.
6. Cross-cut saw trims the lamella to the set size and feeds it to the press.
7. Press clamps the lamella until the adhesive is fully cured.
8. Finished lamellas are deposited on the scissor lift, undergo quality control, and are transported to the roller buffer store.
