The cross rail milling machine KSF-mini is the result of STEGHERR's extensive experience in the construction of these specialized machines for cross muntin joinery. With the KSF-mini, all types of cross muntin joints commonly found in practice can be produced quickly and with a precise fit. Pre-profiled muntins can also be processed on the KSF-mini. Precise recessing is achieved as the workpiece is processed on three sides in a single clamping operation. The tool drive is provided by two three-phase motors; workpiece clamping is pneumatic. The profile cutter is designed for the bar width. The saw blades used for notching can be adjusted to the dimensions of the profile cutter using spacers. The machine is suitable for a maximum workpiece cross-section of 56 x 46 mm.
