Wet wipe production process: unwinding of nonwoven fabric from 2 parent rolls and longitudinal slitting into 5 lanes per roll (up to the moistening stage), enabling high-speed production; longitudinal folding into Z- or C-shape; moistening via multiple spray nozzles; cross-cutting (wipe length); stacking and transfer to the packaging unit. The flowpack packaging unit feeds in the wet wipes, supplies the film, and performs printing (hot-foil coding), punch-out for tissue removal, placement of the resealable label and, for example, a seal label (the integrated dual-lane labeler enables offset labeling), pouch cutting/sealing by heat-sealing.
