Input errors are minimized, ensuring simple and reliable creation of production orders by various operators MEBA High-Performance Package: - Saw feed via servo-controlled ball screw drive with automatic cut pressure and feed monitoring, providing optimal conditions for each sawing application: constant pressure for solid material, constant feed for thin-walled profiles - Fast and precise material length feed via rack and pinion and AC drive, maximum stroke length 2300 mm with integrated roller conveyor up to 3000 mm - Both-sided opening of the gripper jaws on the feed system - Serrated strips for heavy-duty material transport - Saw frame in a robust, low-vibration welded steel construction - Saw blade canted 3° towards the material support surface for maximum cutting performance and blade life when sawing structural steel profiles - Combined bandsaw blade guides - Precision bearings for gentle blade guidance - Chamfered carbide slide guides for blade support - The mitre pivot point (zero point) is the intersection of the bandsaw blade and the fixed vice jaw; this ensures no change in length measurement when altering the angle setting - Automatic compensation for kerf width at any angle position - NC angle programming at the control panel (on these machines, always free-standing) - Patented double mitre clamping jaw system (ERP No.), automatic movement of the clamping jaws. The material clamping jaw moves automatically in the desired mitre direction, ensuring the material is always clamped at a right angle and close to the bandsaw blade; clamping is achieved with full-stroke cylinders - Rapid approach lowering of the saw frame via automatic height change bar down to just above the saw material. For series cutting, the saw frame moves only just above the material, allowing a new workpiece segment to be positioned - Optimal cycle times for single and serial cutting - AC frequency-controlled bandsaw drive, infinitely variable 15 - 150 m/min - Backlash-free, preloaded, low-maintenance recirculating ball linear guides on the material feed...
