When installed outdoors, the load capacities are reduced due to wind and snow loads.
The substrate must be concrete, level, suitable for dowels, and able to accommodate the applied loads. Floor quality, load-bearing capacity, and any required official permits are to be checked and ensured by the customer.

The rack uprights must be anchored to the floor by the customer; anchoring to the wall is neither required nor recommended.

According to the German employers’ liability insurance association, it is recommended that the rack uprights have a minimum 500 mm overhang above the top storage level.
