System Description:
Pre-treatment plant for wet-chemical cleaning of workpieces before coating, using a 3-zone process plus nozzle bar with loss discharge.
Equipment:
- Washing bays for up to 2 carriers in a single cleaning cycle
- 3 rails (1 central, 2 side washing positions)
- Wash ring with removable central nozzle bar (Note: The central nozzle bar is used when 2 rails with flat workpieces are to be cleaned simultaneously. Without the central nozzle bar, wider workpieces can be placed and cleaned on the central rail.)
- 4 washing zones (degreasing circuit, 1st rinse (pre-rinse) circuit, 2nd rinse (final rinse) DI water cascading to degreasing tank 1)
- Final spray ring (Zone 4) for passivation using a no-rinse process when withdrawing carriers (fogging activation time adjustable). Passivation is injected into DI water. Feed into tank 1.
- 2 stainless steel pre-tanks, each with level monitoring (rinse 1 + DI rinse)
- 1 insulated stainless steel tank with electric heating, including level monitoring (degreasing)
- Drain taps on the tanks for disposal, cleaning, and refilling
- DI water supply via mixed bed cartridges
- Exhaust fan for removing water vapor, including exhaust pipeline
- Stainless steel cabin
- Loading via double-leaf doors
- Control terminal (PLC controlled) outside the wash cabin
- PLC and touch display control with remote maintenance module
- Intuitive, pictorial user interface for quick and easy operation
Application:
- Especially suitable for flat workpieces, as two carriers can be cleaned simultaneously using the central bar
- Frames and uncomplicated, open geometries up to max. 1,000 mm width can also be cleaned efficiently
