Joos A.B.S. safety system for protecting the heating plates in case of incorrect loading or parts left on the press.

The press is open on all sides, designed in robust all-steel construction, and secured against overload. The maintenance-free hydraulic system is integrated into the oil tank. Stepless pressure adjustment is achieved via a clear pressure diagram. Once the set pressure is reached, the system shuts off automatically. The pressure is maintained constantly throughout the entire pressing time. The rack-and-pinion guide ensures stable parallel travel of the pressing table.

The press is optimally suited for laminating flat surfaces with adhesives at the appropriate working temperature.

Hydraulics:
The following components are integrated into the hydraulic unit of the press:
- 1 oil-hydraulic two-stage high-pressure pump
- 1 three-phase motor, 2.2 kW
- 1 automatic pressure switch
- 1 changeover valve
- 1 pressure diagram
The hydraulic unit is housed in the lower section of the press.

Control:
Automatic pressure regulation via electronic controller, with setpoint and actual value display. Operation is performed via a clear swivel-button control panel. The control cabinet is built lengthwise into the upper section of the press.
Operating voltage: 400 V, 50 Hz, 3-phase

ELECTRIC HEATING PLATE 3100x1350, ANODIZED
One lower and one upper electric heating plate, 3100 x 1350 mm each.
Surfaces are anodized, resulting in extremely hard, scratch- and abrasion-resistant properties. High-pressure thermal insulation between the heating plate and pressing table.
Maximum operating temperature: 120°C
= 1 level / 2 heating plates

TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Temperature control R 1.1, i.e. each heating plate is equipped with an electronic temperature controller and a safety temperature limiter at the edge of the heating plate.

SWIVEL-BUTTON CONTROL
Operation is via a clear swivel-button control panel.
