These conveyors can be manufactured according to specific requirements and dimensions. As with the general structure and belt system, hinged belt conveyors are durable as long as they are regularly maintained.

Hinged belt conveyors are used for the transport of a wide variety of long, coarse, curled, and granular chips from transmission steel, tool steel, aluminum alloys, and other materials such as Teflon, Delrin, etc. Hinged belt conveyors are the most commonly used type of chip conveyor.

These are systems designed for the transport of chips from manufacturing processes and for the separation of cutting oil/coolant from the chips. Hinged belt conveyors can be manufactured with or without a tank for the return of cutting oil/coolant to the system.

In our standard production, we use four types of chain pitches: 31.75, 38.10, 50.80, and 63.50 mm. The chain pitch is selected according to the volume of chips to be conveyed, and the width and length of the conveyor as well as the motor and gearbox are determined in line with the hourly chip throughput requirement. Coolant recycling is also taken into account when selecting the system configuration.

The conveyor can be operated either via a control panel or through the CNC control system of a machine tool using a plug connection.
