The new Format4 wide belt sanders findustry excel in industrial use, particularly due to the individually configurable assembly of sanding units. The machine can be equipped with two, three, or four units, tailored exactly to the specific application and area of use. This high degree of customization guarantees fulfillment of all requirements regarding surface finish and processing efficiency.

Maximum Operating Comfort in Industrial Applications

The clearly structured touchscreen control is intuitive to use. All machine functions are displayed graphically and clearly on the digital display. The pass-through thickness can be set to tenths of a millimeter at the touch of a button directly from the control panel. The automatic thickness measurement makes it easier to set the machine for the desired workpiece thickness. The workpiece can be measured without additional measuring devices, and the thickness is then transmitted directly “wirelessly” to the machine. The fixed infeed table height of 900 mm ensures easy and fatigue-free working. A vacuum table, roller table extensions on the infeed and outfeed sides, and optional pressure shoes on the sanding units provide optimal comfort and ideal working conditions for workpieces of any format.
