FICEP DZ 603 Drilling Line for Structural Steel Profiles

The Ficep DZ 603 is a three-axis drilling line designed for processing structural profiles. This 3-axis drilling system is purpose-built for machining beams in steel construction. Steel profiles can be automatically drilled and center-punched on three axes (flange and web). CNC control by Mitrol featuring Arianna software enables programming of the drilling line. CAD data in DSTV or DXF format is converted by the CNC control into NC data, and the machine executes the machining program, positioning the axes as specified. A gripper measuring carriage positions the profile at the correct drilling location within the drilling unit. A 5-position automatic tool changer ensures rapid drill bit changes on each drilling axis. Robust rollers at both infeed and outfeed guarantee smooth transportation of the steel profiles.
