Euro-Komplex EK-24

Device (EK-24 FILTER) for extraction and filtration of sawdust, dust, and contaminants resulting from the processing of wood and wood-based materials.
The device was manufactured by the Polish company Euro-Komplex, which specializes in the design, production, and installation of comprehensive dust extraction systems used across various industries, particularly in wood and furniture factories.
The filter enables effective removal of contaminants from several machines simultaneously, such as: circular and panel saws, four-sided planers, edgebanders, CNC machines, milling plotters, or sanders.

The robust and sturdy filter housing is made of 2 mm thick galvanized or powder-coated steel, with the inlet tunnel and reinforcements made of 3 mm steel. The structure is assembled using 8.8 bolts with Teflon inserts. Notably, the applied sieve basket is homogeneous and smooth, free of welded components, which facilitates the flow of air with waste fractions without residue accumulating on the basket walls.
The EK-24 is equipped with a 0.09 kW electro-vibrator in the ATEX system for cleaning the filter bags, which are made of antistatic and waterproof material (weight: 350 g/m²; air permeability: 240 l/dm²/min). The cleaning system is fully automated and operates in specially selected time cycles tailored to the type of extracted material.
Thanks to the use of a return air valve (summer/winter flap), during winter the cleaned and filtered air is returned to the production hall, which has a very positive effect on maintaining the desired temperature and provides measurable financial benefits.
The WTK fans used in the EK-24 have self-cleaning impellers and a reinforced structure that ensures stable long-term operation.
Electrical control is performed via a central unit equipped with safety systems and time controllers for the electro-vibrator and the fan motor.
The control cabinet is fitted with a frequency inverter, enabling control of the fan motor’s rotational speed and providing very precise management.
The rotary valve separates the filter zone from the external zone. It blocks airflow, allowing only sawdust to pass, so that it freely falls into the bag without air blasts. The valve is equipped with a system that absorbs impeller impacts in case large solid objects enter the device.
It features a dry standpipe mounted on the filter, intended for quickly supplying water or extinguishing agent to the enclosed filter chamber using internal sprinklers. The installation is equipped with a fire service coupling necessary for connecting firefighting equipment or hoses directly from a hydrant.
The filter is also equipped with an explosion relief device that reduces pressure in the event of an explosion. It is designed to relieve the pressure of an explosion developing inside protected equipment such as tanks, silos, separators, filters, or sorting machines, where there is a risk of explosion. By venting the explosion to the environment, the explosion pressure is reduced to a value below the permissible pressure resistance level of the protected device.
