Accessories / Special features

• IONIC measuring control system, model 17 A, renewed in 2002, with display and direct input of grinding parameters, including piece counter, tolerance counter, limit value monitoring, and statistics generation. Workpiece tolerances are continuously measured via probe heads, enabling hydraulic adjustment of the grinding heads as preset via the control system.
• Automatic post-grinding workpiece thickness measurement and mechanical pre-infeed height check to prevent grinding wheel crash.
• Automatic hydraulic dressing unit between the two grinding wheels for simultaneous dressing as per preset dressing cycle (number of workpieces/time), including hydraulic return of the upper grinding slide to the preset grinding position/size.
• Rotary workpiece transport unit with transport disc (Ø 810 mm) and continuously variable speed control.
• Hydraulic grinding wheel infeed via jog mode.
• ELBARON oil mist extraction with stand and adjustable extraction cone.
• Walk-on perimeter platform for easy operation and monitoring of the system.
• Grinding wheel change rack, various grinding wheels included.
• Central lubrication system, separate control cabinet, separate hydraulic unit.

This machine is particularly suitable for simultaneous double-sided precision grinding of workpieces in high-volume production. Typical applications: shims, piston rings, hydraulic parts, clock components, stamped parts, etc.
