The machine was built in 1988 and completely overhauled in 2012. During the overhaul, the machine was converted for polishing applications and has since only polished around 10,000 parts. Following that, the machine was taken out of operation. As part of the complete overhaul, all motors, bearings, and the entire control cabinet, including frequency converters, were replaced with new components.
