Machine Features

The universal lathe 500 x 1500YB CORMAK is a versatile machine, ideal for machining various surfaces including internal and external turning, taper turning, polishing, metric, inch, module and DP thread cutting, drilling, and broaching.

The central feed change system and lead screw with a threading shaft allow for precise tool setup, and, combined with the low-speed mechanism, ensure high-quality finishing.

Digital readout operates on three axes: longitudinal, cross, and top slide. The processed signal from optical scales displays movement values on a digital screen, increasing precision and convenience of use.

The large spindle bore (105 mm), 3-jaw chuck (320 mm), and powerful 7.5 kW motor ensure optimal performance, even during demanding low-speed operations.

Hardened and ground gears in the spindle gearbox guarantee reliability and long-term operational stability, crucial for tasks requiring precision turning at low speeds.

Easy spindle speed and automatic feed adjustment from an ergonomic control panel provide complete process control, which is essential for precise, slow-speed operations.

Capability for cutting a wide range of threads, including right and left-hand threads, without changing gears, plus a dedicated threading dial for precise thread counting, saves time on complex jobs.

The removable bed bridge allows machining of oversized components (e.g., discs) and turning of large diameters up to 710 mm when the bridge is removed, expanding the range for large workpieces.
