Specifications
The ClearO2 W100 is designed as a supplement to the 8XE MIG and 8XR MIG Cobot fume extraction devices from Translas. By combining the welding fume torches of the 8XE MIG and 8XR MIG Cobot extraction systems with the ClearO2 W100 units, we capture between 90% and 98% of welding fumes at the source and filter them with an efficiency of > IFA 99.8%. Due to its compact design, light weight – only 45 kg – and four wheels (two of which are lockable), the unit is perfect for relocating within the workplace.
Automatic Cleaning
The ClearO2 W100 features an automatic cleaning function using a reverse compressed air pulse. As soon as the vacuum in the filter becomes too high, the unit automatically starts cleaning the filter. Manual cleaning can be triggered at the push of a button. The automatic start/stop function to save energy and to synchronize the unit with the 8XE MIG and 8XR MIG Cobot extraction systems comes standard with all ClearO2 models. As soon as the torch is removed from the specially designed torch holder, the machine automatically begins operation.

Continuous Duty Motor
The unit’s electric motor is designed for continuous operation without loss of performance. Thanks to the automatic cleaning function and simplified motor system, the maintenance requirements for the device are minimal, making it durable and time-saving. With a filter area of 5 m², this is one of the most efficient devices of its size, featuring the largest available filter. The filter is a disposable model with an active surface area achieving an efficiency of: IFA >99.8%.
Lightweight and Mobile
The ClearO2 W100 units are designed for the needs of a single welder who needs to change workplaces. Example applications include shipbuilding, wind tower construction, tank fabrication, and other similar manufacturing industries. The four wheels (two with brakes) and low weight – just 45 kg – allow the welder to easily move the device to the next work location.
