We are selling our Hopgun, which has a filling volume of 60 L—perfect for both larger and smaller fermenting tanks. It is a very precise copy of the well-known Hopgun produced in Germany by Braukon. Ours is manufactured in China but is very well made; the welds are excellent, it features a pressure gauge and an integrated CIP spray ball for convenient cleaning using a pump. The bottom lid can also be completely opened for thorough cleaning. All connections on the Hopgun are designed for Tri-Clamp fittings, and the shut-off valves are of very high quality, also made of stainless steel. We have purchased three different pre-filtration cartridges, allowing you to use hop pellets, fresh whole hops, or whatever you would like to extract with your beer. It has an outstanding venting function to remove oxygen cleanly. The entire unit is made professionally from stainless steel and is on casters, allowing easy movement even when fully loaded.

With a HopGun, oils and aromas from hop pellets are extracted from the finished beer efficiently and reliably. This increases both yield and flavor stability—exactly what creative brewers are looking for. Unlike conventional methods, the hops are evenly washed through with the complete batch of beer, and coarse particles are separated from the product using a special pre-filtration cartridge.
