The Brugger SA48 Pro cutting and splitting machine is the perfect solution for the fast and effortless processing of logs with a diameter of up to 48 cm into high-quality firewood.

Thanks to its well-designed yet simple construction, this machine stands out by requiring minimal maintenance and making repairs straightforward.

This impressive device is available with either a powerful 14 HP Kohler petrol engine, a 9.5 kW 400V electric motor, or PTO drive for three-point linkage operation.

The SA48 Pro dispenses with electronic controls and is operated purely mechanically using components such as hydraulic valves with levers.

Despite its high splitting force and large diameter capacity, the machine remains relatively compact. Equipped with a drawbar, it can be attached to any towing hitch for easy transport.

Additionally, two people can move the machine by hand on a flat surface without always needing a vehicle.

The log length can be continuously adjusted up to 55 cm. The splitting wedge can be moved up or down to different positions via a manual lever, allowing you to split logs in 2-way, 4-way, or even 6-way configurations depending on the wood thickness.

Optional equipment such as the log lifter or chain conveyor further simplify the work process.

Multiple logs can be loaded onto the chain conveyor using a forklift, crane, or front loader, eliminating the need to lift individual logs by hand.

The SA27 Pro has been replaced by the improved SA48 Pro model.
