The new, large freeformer 300-3X processes three components using the ARBURG Plastic Freeforming (AKF) process, enabling—for the first time worldwide—the industrial additive manufacturing of complex functional parts with robust hard-soft material bonding and support structure.
The designation 300 refers to the available build platform in square centimeters. Compared to the freeformer 200-3X, the build chamber now provides 50 percent more space for parts with dimensions up to 234 x 134 x 230 millimeters.
“3X” stands for the three axes (x, y, and z) on which the build platform can move.
