Basic configuration
The F 45 is equipped with a parallelogram-type guard with two hoods for 90° and mitre cuts. They can be infinitely height-adjusted and self-locking. The large infeed pressure roller allows the guard to automatically adjust to the workpiece thickness. Maximum saw blade diameter is 450 mm, ensuring a max. blade projection of 154 mm.

Single-side tilting saw unit with 5.5 kW (7.5 HP) motor, manually adjustable to 3/4/5000 rpm. Tilting range: 0 – 46°. AKE quick-change system for the main saw blade. The motors provide 20% more torque than standard electric motors with the same power consumption.

Altendorf double roller carriage is lockable at any position. The hardened steel double rollers provide absolute accuracy between upper and lower carriage on the hard-chromed round guide bars. The carriage construction features a highly torsion-resistant multi-chamber system. The table surface is anodised. A hard-chromed round bar serves as a guide for the cross-slide and interface for various accessories.

This Altendorf-patented fence with an integrated length-compensation system enables precise cutting of 90° and mitre angles in a single operation. The swivelling angle can be infinitely adjusted by 49° in both the front and rear fence positions, with readings displayed on a scale. Simply slide the fence rail to the required angle on the scale and set the desired length at the fence stop flap.
