Agromech M-829

Drum Dryer Agromech M-829 with chip feed stoker to the furnace.
The drum dryer is equipped with a coal-fired furnace, adapted for burning wood waste or sawdust briquettes. The entire drying process, as well as the regulation and control of the drying medium temperature, is carried out in a semi-automatic manner, operated by the dryer operator.

THE DRYER CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING MAIN COMPONENTS:
- Coal furnace with thermal insulation, adapted to burn sawdust briquettes and wood waste.
- Submerged chain-slat wet sawdust feeder, steplessly controlled by an electric inverter with a smooth dosing system for the dried raw material.
- Insulated loading connector.
- Thermally insulated drum dryer, 9.00 m length.
- Discharge chamber for dried material.
- Main dedusting cyclone with dosing unit.
- Main centrifugal fan.
- Dryer control cabinet with temperature monitoring and measuring equipment.
- Inclined discharge screw conveyor for dry material.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Nominal dryer capacity with an initial wet sawdust moisture of 40-45% and final 15% – 1,000 kg/h
2. Amount of evaporated water – 1,100 kg/h
3. Max. thermal output of the solid fuel furnace – 1,000 kW
4. Maximum drying air temperature at the drum inlet – 600-650ºC
5. Average fuel consumption:
- Hard coal or fuel with calorific value similar to coal – 200 kg/h
- High-calorific sawdust briquettes – 250-300 kg/h
- Wood chips with up to 35% moisture – 250-350 kg/h
6. Total installed electric power – 17 kW
7. Total dryer weight with fireclay insulation – 16,500 kg
