The ProJet ColorJet color 3D printers from “3D Systems”—also known as ZPrinter—use ColorJet CJP ‘binder jetting’ technology, printing layer-by-layer directly in a powder bed. As a result, even for complex and detailed prints, these 3D printers do not require dedicated support structures. The unfused powder supports the components during printing and is then semi-automatically recycled.
