ZERMA ZPS

ZERMA single-shaft shredders of the ZPS series are designed for universal applications.

They are suitable for shredding heavy and bulky parts that cannot be processed directly in a granulator. The large and heavy rotor of the ZPS shredder series, the low rotor speed, and the high torque ensure low current peaks and thus help to avoid high energy costs.

Single-shaft shredders from the ZPS series are engineered for a wide range of applications. Depending on the specific requirements, the shredded material can either be used directly in the production process or subsequently granulated in a downstream granulator.

The shredders in the ZPS series are equipped with a two-stage hydraulic system that prevents rotor blockages. Knives and knife holders are fully bolted to the rotor. The generous, externally mounted rotor bearings and the hydraulically operated swing-out screen are standard features on every shredder.

The machines can be upgraded with a variety of options, such as rotor cooling or Hardox wear protection.

Compared to the ZSS shredders, ZPS series machines feature a higher feed ram, which optimizes intake performance between the pusher and the rotor, particularly when processing large-volume parts or pipes.
