Differences between the standard horizontal sawmill bed and the veneer-specific sawmill bed: the saw is equipped with the following special features:

- Reinforced saw head casing to prevent any sawdust intrusion between the flywheel and the blade
- Additional protection shields due to higher capacity and power of sawdust extraction
- Twin-cut blade
- Graphite blade guides (bakelite on standard model)
- Special system for changing graphite blade guides
- Special protection for frame and sensors, plexiglass in lid (different head cover design compared to standard bandsaw)
- Additional sensors for blade deviation
- Pneumatic air-jet cleaning along the entire saw bed length
