Washing system

The core of the PT series: The machine interior features two S-shaped wash fields. Optimized flow dynamics and special nozzle geometry ensure full coverage of water distribution, resulting in first-class washing results with rinse water consumption from as little as 2.2 liters per cycle. Detail-focused quality throughout—robust stainless steel shafts ensure optimal rotation and contribute to the PT-XL's high reliability.

Variable wash pressure adjustment

Every Winterhalter PT-XL comes standard with adjustable wash pressure. VarioPower accurately matches the water pressure to the type of items being washed and the degree of soiling. Delicate glassware and fragile bowls are washed at lower pressure, while robust dishes are cleaned at higher pressure. This reliably removes stubborn dirt, treats sensitive items gently, and holds them securely in place.

Wastewater heat recovery

A clear advantage of the PT series: The EnergyLight wastewater heat recovery is fitted as standard. The heat exchanger uses energy from the wastewater to preheat the incoming cold water. Benefits include faster heating between wash cycles, resource conservation, and up to 10% energy savings.

Exhaust air heat recovery

The PT-XL Energy Plus is equipped with exhaust air heat recovery. In addition to standard wastewater heat recovery, an exhaust air heat exchanger is used. It utilizes the energy from the hot water vapor inside the machine to preheat the cold intake water. As a result, hardly any warm, moist air escapes into the room when opening the machine, and up to 15% energy is saved per wash cycle.
