Accessories / Special equipment:

• Stable whirling/peeling unit with 2 leading and 2 trailing pneumatic steady rests with integrated prism guides. Manual adjustment of thread depth and optical pitch angle setting at the carriage.
• Powered tool head, normally equipped with 4 tools: 2 base cutters, 1 flank cutter, and 1 deburring cutter.
• Workpiece speeds and pitch feed are finely adjustable via change gears. Separate rapid traverse for the return of the whirling support.
• Simple peripheral indexing device for whirling multi-start threads.
• Retrofitting device for whirling threads longer than the center width using intermediate support.
• For correcting pitch errors of the leadscrew, thermal expansion of the workpiece, or errors during retrofitting, the machine is equipped with a compensation system. This allows both electronically programmed compensation of the leadscrew and workpiece-specific linear compensation via a wedge system.
