BRIQUETTING PRESS
The press is designed for compressing secondary raw materials into briquettes (briquette shape – rectangular).

The press consists of:
Electrical system – controls the hydraulic press system. The system includes four electric motors: the first (30 kW) drives the main hydraulic pumps, the second (1.1 kW) drives the cooling hydraulic pump, the third (0.55 kW) drives the fan of the oil cooling system, and the fourth (1.5 kW) drives the sawdust feed auger. The operation of the motors and hydraulic valves is managed via contactors and intermediate solid-state relays, all controlled by a microprocessor with expansion modules. For visualization and parameter adjustments, a liquid crystal display with control buttons is installed.
Hydraulic system – uses pumps, high and low-pressure valves, and solenoid hydraulic valves and hoses to control the hydraulic cylinders. There are three hydraulic cylinders: the main cylinder for sawdust compression, the vertical cylinder for primary sawdust compaction, and the forming cylinder for shifting the briquette shape. The system also includes an oil cooling circuit with a pump and air cooler. Oil filtration is provided by a main high-capacity filter, a cooling system filter, and a fine filter.
Raw material feeding is carried out via a built-in feed hopper in the press. Material entering the hopper is intermittently mixed to prevent bridging. The mixer is driven by a chain from the auger gearmotor. The auger cyclically supplies material to the vertical cylinder shaft. The hopper is equipped with two raw material level sensors – lower and upper. If the hopper is enlarged, the sensors can be relocated as needed.
Control system – offers both manual and automatic modes. All control equipment is mounted in the electrical cabinet. Automatic mode is the standard press operation without operator intervention. Manual mode is intended for press setup, troubleshooting, or resetting cylinders to their starting positions in case of an emergency. Operation is facilitated by a display on the electrical cabinet door, allowing viewing and changing of parameters as well as monitoring the press status and errors.
