Accessories / Special equipment:

• The machine was completely overhauled in 1998 and upgraded with a SIEMENS PLC S7-300 control system. All motors have been replaced, and the workpiece drive as well as the grinding head infeed have been fitted with servo drives. The entire electrical system as well as the essential hydraulic components were replaced. A modern operator panel with pushbuttons and interface was retrofitted.
• Automatic grinding cycle for longitudinal and plunge grinding. All grinding parameters are input digitally on the SIEMENS OP 77A operator panel; the infeed axis features an electronic handwheel.
• MPM microprocessor-based wheel balancing system AB300SM3.C with balancing head mounted on the flange and BM240M control module installed on the control panel (retrofitted in 2019)
• Infinitely variable workpiece drive speeds with digital display
• Dressing unit mounted on the tailstock
• 3 open steady rests
• Separate electrical cabinet, separate hydraulic unit, accessories, operating manuals
Condition: very good – the machine has been thoroughly serviced twice a year. Ready for demonstration under power shortly.
