Main
application areas for the system include industrial plants/welding shops, where
spot extraction is not possible or where spot extraction is insufficient to maintain air cleanliness in the hall.

Side-mounted ducts with extraction points capture contaminated air and direct it to the filtration section.
Here, contaminants in the form of fine particles cover the surface of the cartridge filter.
A compressed air pulse automatically cleans the cartridge filters at required intervals. When the compressed air pulse is applied, particles collected on the filter surface are dislodged and fall into the dust collection bin.
The cleaned air is returned to the workspace via individually adjustable long-range nozzles. At the same time,
the flow of clean air directs the contaminated air in the hall towards the extraction ducts.

The filter is cleaned by a microprocessor controller using compressed air pulses during operation, resulting in high unit efficiency.
Low demand for compressed air due to the "Power-Spray" system.

The AIRTECH series devices are IFA certified in accordance with EN ISO 15012-1 or DIN EN ISO 21904-1/-2 and approved for welding fume class W3 as permanent, local exhaust ventilation devices for welding fumes.
