The technology behind the J850 is based on the PolyJet process, which delivers highly precise results with exceptional surface quality. The printer offers several layer thickness options: 14 µm, 27 µm, and 55 µm. Thanks to this flexibility, you can prioritize either precision or speed according to your requirements. With an extended build area of 490 x 390 x 200 mm, the J850 can process an even greater number of complex, detailed models in a single print run, increasing efficiency and saving time. The GrabCAD Print software simplifies operation, allowing you to prepare models and monitor the printing process.

The J850 supports a broad range of modeling materials including the Vero family with opaque colors, vivid VeroVivid shades, flexible Agilus30 materials, and transparent options like VeroClear and VeroUltraClear. Advanced digital modeling capabilities enable you to combine up to seven different materials in a single model, achieving unparalleled realism with full color, transparency, flexibility, and various Shore A hardness levels. In addition, you can create over 500,000 different colors to produce color-critical models without painting or post-processing. The J850 is equipped with twelve material bays and features automatic material switching, ensuring longer, unattended print runs with minimal downtime.

For support material, the J850 uses SUP705 and SUP706B, making it easy to create intricate and delicate models. Multiple print modes – High Quality, High Mix, High Speed, and Super High Speed – let you tailor the process to your project’s requirements, whether you need maximum detail or fast concept models. For enhanced post-processing, we recommend a WaterJet cleaning station, which can be offered alongside the printer.

The Stratasys J850 can be installed anywhere and does not require any special site conditions. Its compact design allows it to fit seamlessly into workplaces with limited space. Special ventilation is not required, as Stratasys PolyJet systems emit no harmful fumes, dust, or other chemicals into your environment.
