Opis
The KP 900 EasyCut crosscut saw is an ideal solution for companies processing solid wood that place the highest emphasis on production quality and material yield. This saw is designed for defect cutting and length optimization. On average, it can process up to 900 linear meters per hour (material length: 4 m, 8 cuts). The saw can be operated by one or two workers, depending on the nature of the material being processed.
The KP 900 EasyCut optimizing saw is suitable for production focused on cutting accuracy, minimizing costly material waste, speed, and operational safety. Key advantages of the machine include a high degree of flexibility in the range of input and output material dimensions. The saw features intuitive controls, with specialized software to facilitate cutting parameter programming and input. The KP 900 EasyCut also offers expanded mechanization options for the outfeed side.
Device Features
Length Optimization
This function minimizes waste and maximizes yield. The loaded material is optically scanned by the infeed device and is automatically and precisely allocated to cuts of specified lengths as set in the selected program. The optimization system always prioritizes the cut for the longest possible selected length that fits in the given material. The saw automatically measures each workpiece, eliminating the need to pre-sort materials by size.
If defects are marked, the infeed device optically divides the material into individual pieces (from defect to defect), and these are length-optimized separately. If a cut piece does not reach the minimum length set in the program, it is disposed of as waste. The program allows automatic front and rear trimming.
Quality-Based Optimization – Waste Removal

In this function, the operator visually inspects each workpiece, marking defects with two perpendicular lines using special chalk. As the infeed device equipped with optical sensors passes over the material, it records the precise positions of the marked cuts. The resulting pieces, of varying lengths (from defect to defect), are then automatically optimized for length and cut to the required sizes according to the cutting program. If a cut piece does not meet the shortest program-specified length, it is ejected as waste. Automatic front and rear trimming can be set in the program.
