Overview

These eight isobaric pressure tanks (each with a capacity of 50,000 liters), manufactured by Sirio Aliberti in 2005, originate from the wine industry and were previously used for sparkling wine production. With an operating pressure of up to 6 bar and full insulation, the tanks are well suited for the fermentation, maturation, and storage of carbonated beverages, including beer, sparkling wine, and similar products. The tanks are constructed from carbon steel with a food-grade epoxy internal coating, combined with polyurethane insulation, and an external cladding made of stainless steel sheet. This design represents a traditional and cost-effective alternative to stainless steel tanks, which became industry standard in later years.

Thanks to their large volume and isobaric suitability, these tanks are particularly suitable for high-throughput production environments. As with all epoxy-coated vessels, regular inspection and renewal of the internal coating is required depending on operational conditions.
