Sakurai 466 SIP

The Sakurai 466 SIP, year of manufacture 2005, carries serial number HF113105 and is a four-colour offset printing press with a maximum sheet size of 470 x 660 mm and a total output of 25 million impressions. The machine is currently in operation at a print shop in Germany and is equipped with the DTC Delivery Top Console featuring a touchscreen and complete remote control capabilities. It includes advanced automation systems such as SIS (Sakurai Interactive System) for print job preparation, SAS (Sakurai Auto Set) for paper size and thickness adjustment, and SPC (semi-automatic plate changing), as well as a plate travel register system and a tension register for precise alignment.

The machine is fitted with automatic washing systems for the blanket cylinders and ink rollers, an Olivermatic dampening unit, and a Baldwin refrigeration and Bal Control system to ensure consistent print quality. The feeder features a suction belt feed table with electronic double sheet and side lay detectors, while the chrome-coated impression cylinders provide increased durability and performance. Additionally, the equipment includes a perfecting unit for 4/0 or 2/2 printing with full automation, medium-pile delivery, and a powder spray system.
